We utilize laser surgery for many routine and advanced surgical procedures. Laser surgery is performed by utilizing a beam of light that is used to cut tissue in place of a scalpel blade. The beam seals blood vessels and nerves as it cuts to provide less bleeding in surgery and less swelling and pain after surgery. The chance of infection is reduced because the lasers intense heat also kills bacteria.
