PAWS Grooming

Amanda started her grooming career in April of 2024 at Petsmart. She graduated with her grooming certificate from Kirkwood Community College in July of 2025 and is excited to start professional grooming at PAWS. In Amanda's free time, she enjoys riding her horse Mocha and spending time with family and friends. Her extreme love of dogs along with having a special way of connecting with them lead her to pursue a career in pet grooming. Her pets at home include one dog, one horse and two cats. 

 Hi, my name is Carrie Wirtz. I am a 46-year-old mother of one adult son and four fur babies. In addition to my dogs, I also enjoy caring for many birds and several fish tanks.

I attended grooming school in Chicago in November 2006 and became Fear Free Certified in 2015. I am passionate about grooming all breeds of dogs and cats, and I especially enjoy working with pets that may be nervous or have been turned away by other groomers. 

My goal is to help every pet feel safe, comfortable, and confident during the grooming process by showing them that grooming can be a positive experience.
